I found only a few links to information about Anglo-Saxon music, but I did not spend hours trying.

Anglo-Saxon Music  This page is part of a larger site and it is a good brief history.  It has pictures of harps and hypertext links to terms like "scop."

Mining Company's Site The Mining Company (which is now about.com) hires people to search the web, find the best resources, and create a page of links.  Here is a page on English music with links to such sites as the English Music Hall.  It is a good place for a great deal of history.
